STATE.8 is an experimental feedback controller. It does not assume that the device has a hidden preference or consciousness. It uses the Android browser's actual timing behavior as its feedback signal and changes the computation accordingly. The question being tested is: CAN ADAPTIVE STATE FEEDBACK FIND A MORE EFFICIENT OPERATING REGIME THAN A FIXED COMPUTATIONAL REGIME?
